A little about Johnathan Newton :
Jonathan’s love affair with techno started in the early ninety’s on the dance floors of South Africa’s fledgling rave scene.
He Started Dj’ing in 1997. In 98 started promoting and was one of the main driving forces behind techno in JHB. Responsible in part for the barcode and Submerged events which saw Inigo Kennedy and Ade Fenton playing in SA.
His residencies have included Atomic, G.a.s.s, Horror Café and Teknotribe, As well as playing @ ICE and various other festivals
Jonathan is a versatile DJ and has a passion for quality underground dance and draw influences from all forms of music.
